⚓ How to Export and Import Data

Before You Export

  1. Create a New Browser Profile
    In Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome, create a new browser profile dedicated to the vessel.

  2. Log In as the Vessel
    Use this new profile to log in with the vessel’s account.

  3. Synchronize All Data
    Wait until all data has fully synchronized with the system.

    ✅ Only export after the sync is complete to ensure all information is included.


Exporting Data

  1. Open the Export Tool
    Go to the system’s root directory and open export-db.html in your browser.

  2. Choose Export Folder
    Click “Choose export folder” and select an empty folder where the exported files will be saved.

    ⚠ Avoid the Desktop or similar locations, as many files will be created.

  3. Optional: Compress the Files
    You may choose to zip the exported files if you prefer.

  4. Copy to USB Drive
    Copy the exported folder (or zip file) to a USB stick and bring it onboard.


Importing Data Onboard

  1. Install the System
    Install the system onboard as usual.

  2. Select Source Folder
    On the final installation page, click “Select source folder” and choose the folder from your USB stick.

  3. Start Import
    Click “Start import” to begin the import process.

  4. Automatic Synchronization
    When the import is complete, the system will start normally and synchronize any remaining or missing data automatically.
