This solution is for issues where the installation halts due to large files being downloaded and a computer running IRIS already.


  1. Download and save the attached file on a common drive onboard the vessel server
  2. Close IRIS on both PCs, functional and the PC with issue/in need of installation
  3. Select the correct profile to back up data from.
  4. Press back up and select a location for the backup file (s)
  5. Go to the faulty PC/PC in need of restore and run the previously saved file. 
  6. Click Restore and select what profile to restore to and click Use
  7. Select the previously created backup location and run the restore.
  8. Open IRIS and see if it worked. If the installation page shows, press Synchronize and let it run. It should be quick because all data is already imported.
